GS25 Launches 'Small Dining' Ready-to-Eat Meals for Year-End Home Parties

GS25, a convenience store chain operated by GS Retail in South Korea, has launched a new ready-to-eat meal series called 'Small Dining' ahead of the year-end home party season. 'Small Dining' offers products designed for convenient, upscale dining at home, catering specifically to the 'home dining' trend of easily purchasing drinks and snacks together at convenience stores.

GS25 explained that, reflecting the rise of 'home dining' as a culinary culture following the pandemic, they prepared products that allow for upscale dining at home without the hassle. The Small Dining series consists mainly of Western-style dishes such as pasta, salads, and tapas, designed to pair well with various alcoholic beverages like wine and highballs.

Small Dining: A Diverse Menu Lineup

Two types of cold pasta, released on October 3rd, △Bolognese Fusilli Pasta and △Cream Pajolini Pasta, are popular menu items perfect for easy home parties. Bolognese Fusilli Pasta uses spiral-shaped 'fusilli' pasta for a chewy texture, while Cream Pajolini Pasta features creamy sauce with 'pajolini' pasta for a unique texture.

On the 9th, three types of salads will be added: △Creamy Salad, △Fresicon Salad, and △Bacon Potato Salad. Two tapas menu items are also scheduled for release in October. All products are individually packaged, ideal for a single serving, and require no cooking, adding to their convenience.

The price is set at around ₩1,900 to reduce the financial burden on consumers. A 'Buy More, Save More' event will be held throughout October, offering a discount of up to 35% for high-volume purchases.
